 Track Description
As stated in the learning gap my 6th grade students have difficulty with reading comprehension. In developing the unit "Improving Reading Comprehension" these activities were chosen to help students remember the steps they need to take to help them understand what they are reading. This will also help them to better meet the curriculum standard that is being addressed: The student will develop the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the written text. It will also give them the opportunity to learn something as completely as possible as stated in the Profiler teacher pre-survey.
