The "M-n-M" Music and Memory unit will combine lesson plans on Musical Instrument Appreciation and Rhythmic Patterns. First, students will listen to instruments and learn to identify their unique sounds. Then, they will practice repeating sequential patterns on the Internet using shockwave and other interactive games. Finally, students will begin to create their own rhythmic patterns. One way this unit hopes to achieve this is by using the "Juice Bottle Jingles" or other various "play music" instruments found online.
