Track Description
This Track on Characterization is for my 4th grade reading class of low academic achievers. Students will use various activities to help them comprehend, interpret, and appreciate the various characters they encounter in their reading. As students complete these activities, they will develop the reading skills necessary not only for character analysis, but also for recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciatiion of the written text as required in the Tennessee State Curriculum framework. Students will be strengthening critical thinking skills, which have been identified as a weakness in our system school improvement plan.
