Track Description
This is a track for seventh grade literature students. Students address the learning gap and Tennessee Curriculum Framework of developing the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the written text by comparing and contrasting characters, practicing and testing comprehension skills, and answering questions using a variety of thinking skills. Learning expectations are: Students will complete a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting two characters from the book; Students will complete an online matching game; Students will answer questions at three levels of thinking skills; Students will complete a character organizer.
