Track Description
Based on Terra Nova results from Spring of 2000, 35% of my sixth graders did not master the Spelling portion of the exam. Because of this and our school improvement plan, I created this track to provide my students with useful practice in spelling. This track addresses the content standard that states, "The student will develop the structural and creative skills necessary to produce written language that can be read and interpreted by various audiences." It also addresses the survey question that states, "My students think about their best skills and use them to complete a task."
