 Track Description
This unit is designed to help students learn about community job responsibilities. It will also show them how math skills learned in the classroom transfer to their community. Learning Gap: Students have difficulty applying math skills to real life situations. Learning Standard: The student will recognize, represent, and model real numbers and operations verbally, physically, symbolically, and graphically. Learning Objectives: 1) Students will learn to keep a checkbook register. 2) Students will improve their math problem-solving skills. 3) The student will identify money values and write amounts of money. 4) The student will understand the principles of budgeting.
