 Track Description
Facilitation of this thematic track will motivate students to research, discuss, write, report, and think critically about famous inventors and their inventions. These activities will address my learning gap by encouraging students to become better readers. The curriculum standards will be addressed as students demonstrate competency in critical thinking skills and strategies of the writing and reading process. Some of the Profiler Survey items students will apply as they complete their tasks are those which require them to choose which parts of a topic are most important to explain to others and explain why, connect what they learn in school to what they do outside of school and ask questions that help themselves and others understand a topic better. (Numbers 17, 19, 13, 16 and 9)
