This unit addresses role playing and Writing about conflicts. In this unit TSW role play and write, create a paper doll, write a "What If " story, and communicate about their friends qualities to avoid conflicts. (The Language Arts 3-5 cluster Writing content standard states; The student will develop the structural and creative skills necessary to produce written language that can be read and interpreted by various audiences. Write to acquire knowledge, clarify thinking, improve study skills, gain confidence, and promote lifelong communication. Second standard)-subject is School Counseling Student Competencies, grade level cluster is 3-5, Developing Relationship skills: Recognize how one’s actions affect others. Recognize and accept different cultural groups within the community. I chose this unit because (it allowed my students use different media to explore conflicts. This unit addresses pre-survey question No. 8: I decide which tasks are most important to solve a problem and put them in the right order.
