 Track Description
This track will allow students to complete an electronic scavenger hunt, reaching various sites on the Internet, and acquainting the students with navigation on the Internet. My 3rd through 6th grade enrichment students do not yet have the skills to choose a topic and then research that topic on the Internet. In this unit they will be using technology as a tool to conduct research and to effectively communicate information and ideas. The students will use technology tools, such as e-mail, for individual or collaborative communication activities. They will use technology resources to develop problem solving strategies, improve decision making, and support real world applications. They will also organize infomation on the Internet to solve a given task. Finally, they will use a variety of computer technologies to access, analyze, interpret, synthesize, apply, and communicate information.
