This track includes activities to improve the students’ abilities to locate places using latitude and longitude. This track is being developed for 5th Grade Social Studies students. It addresses the learning gap by allowing students to use the Internet to practice skills as described in the Profiler teacher Usage Survey. It also teaches strategies that will help them learn to use latitude and longitude as stated under the Social Studies cluster geography section of the Tennessee Curriculum Framework
