 Track Description
The stated learning gap is my students stuggle with discussing and presenting biographies on authors and illustrators. This unit was chosen because it stated which basic questions one might ask an author. The third grade standard states: the student will express ideas clearly and effectively in a variety of oral contexts and apply active listening skills in the analysis and evaluation of spoken ideas. I chose this unit because it allowed the students to work with a partner and directs them towards certain information. It also incorporates Internet resources which address a survey item that states: Students use Internet in my class to research topics.
