Students will learn about instruments of the orchestra and their sounds. Students will develop skill in listening to selected works by such composers as Bach and Greig. Students will describe them in terms of the elements of music. Students will develop skill in moving and listening to musical examples from America. Students will describe these examples in terms of the elements of music. Students will describe distinguishing characteristics that represent music genres and styles from a variety of cultures.
