 Track Description
"Comprehending What You Read" was created to help my fifth grade students to better understand what they read. It addresses the content standard that states, "The student will develop the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the written text." It also addresses the survey question that deals with students being willing to try something that is hard for them. Students are involved in such activities as visualizing what they have read and researching topics.
