Many students fail to understand the importance and impact of the elements of plot in the content of a story and how recognizing the basic elements of plot add to better comprehension and understanding in reading. The websites in this Track are designed to assist students in completing the activities and assignments given to them from our short stories unit. This lesson will involve students in using the elements of a short story, such as character, setting, plot, causation, resolution of conflict in understand the outcome of a story. By understanding how all of these elements are related, the students will write stories with confidence.
