Students will read book reviews from 2 different web sites to determine what information goes into a book review; a discussion of their findings will follow. From these reviews, students will also get titles of books for future reading. With teacher direction, students will review the website “How to Write a Book Review,” and the teacher will clarify the writing assignment’s requirements. Students will then write a book review on the independent reading book they have just finished, and final drafts will be submitted to an appropriate website.
