Starfall.com is a free public service to motivate children to read with phonics. The systematic phonics approach, in conjunction with phonemic awareness practice, is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, first-second grade, special education, and English language development.

2. Guide to Grammar and Writing

Suggestions, examples, quizzes, and links to help the writing process. This site is geared for high school students or can be used as an elementary/middle school teachers' resource.

3. Character Scrapbook

Analyze a character from any book using this interactive site. Students can use the tools to create a picture of a character and answer a number of questions about the characters attributes. For grades 2-5.

4. Spelling City.com - Learning Activities and Games

The 10 educational games housed at this site can be played with spelling lists created and uploaded by you (or you can use other people's lists). More games are available to paid subscribers.
