Take your students to the next level of searching with yolink. Search links and electronic documents via key terms and find content in context with key words highlighted for easy recognition. Yolink can also be embedded into district blogs and websites.

3. Topicfire
http://topicfire.com/

Rather than have your students read static online-news sites, have them try Topicfire. This site permits users to choose categories of interest and then fills the page with fresh, relevant content. Students can always see the latest news that relates to their areas of interest.

4. Scholarpedia
http://www.scholarpedia.org/

Similar to Wikipedia, but written completely by experts.

5. The Internet Public Library
http://www.ipl.org/

Send your students to IPL to begin research a multitude of topics. This site features online collections and exhibits as well as more traditional library holdings. There is a section dedicated to kids and teens as well.

6. EasyBib
