1. Hearing

This site explains all about hearing. It describes the process of hearing and exactly how we hear. This is a great website to teach about one of the five senses. It can be used in the classroom to aide in a five senses activity where the student has to research why we hear.

2. Vision

This is a site that shows how the eyes work. It has fun activities and is a humorous website. The 3D section is sure to keep kids in younger grades entertained. This could be used in the classroom in a lesson about vision and even a lesson on technology with the 3d effect.

3. Teaching Touch

This is a site that tells you how to teach touch and even shows various activities you can do to teach about touch. It also has a video you can play in your classroom regarding touch and the five sense. Then it lists books you can use to compliment your lesson on the 5 senses.

This website explains how we taste. It explains about the body parts involved in tasting. It has videos and links to books you can use to compliment  a lesson on tasting. This is a great website.

5. Smelling

This is a website about smelling. It  tells you about all the body parts involved in smelling.There is also a section with lesson plans and links to games that ca  be connected with a lesson on the 5 senses. Great website for info on neuroscience also.
