1. CHEM4KIDS

Read the first two pages on the element tour. Click on the "Element List" on the left side of the web page. If your element is listed, read the information on it. If your element is not listed, go on the the next site.

2. Pictorial Periodic Table

Click on your element on the periodic table. You will get to see a picture of your element.

3. Chemical Elements

On the periodic table, click on your element. Your should find lots of specific facts and information on the basic structure of an atom of your element.Then, click on the classification that you element is in and read about the family characteristics of your element.

4. Web Elements

Once again, click on your element on the periodic table.This is an excellent site for history and use informaion. Make sure you check out these areas by clicking on the bar on the left side of the specific element page. Spend a little time exploring other information on this site as well.

5. Chemicool

Click on your element on the periodic table. If you don't have it already, this site has the value (cost) of most of the elements.

6. klb Periodic Table

Check out the name of your element in other languages. Is it always the same? Are there some interesting variations? Then scroll down to the area Who / Where / When / How and collect any interesting information you haven't come across yet.

7. Chemcomics

If you have all of your basic information, here are some fun approaches to some of the elements.

8. Periodic Poetry

Check out a little Periodic Poetry. If you want to, you may write your own for a little extra credit.

Haiku for you. Read it for fun, write it for extra credit.
