1. Planet Facts

Directions:  Click on each object (sun, Mars, Earth, etc.) and discover interesting facts about each object.  Answer the following questions on your worksheet.  You will have to use the website to find the answers to the questions.

1.  What does our Solar System consist of?

2.  Choose your favorite planet.  Tell one interesting fact about the planet you selected.

Use the following links to learn what makes a planet habitable.  After reviewing each link, click on “DESIGN A PLANET” and create your own habitable planet.  When you have completed your planet, use the bottom of your worksheet to write about your planets characteristics and give it a name.
