This track is designed to supplement the seventh grade World War 1 curriculum. Student objectives include an examination of the causes of WW1, identification of the alliances, responding to soldiers’ personals stories, and the examination of a major battle. In addition students will evaluate the tactics of gas warfare and finally learn about the war’s ending with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.
