The Accounting class is made up of 20 college prep students, 10th-12th grade.  There are five boys and fifteen girls.  The only pre-requisite of upper level business classes is Computer Applications.  This group is highly motivated by “real world” applications of what they have learned.

 

This trackstar document was prepared to reinforce a unit on “Ethics” in Accounting.  It will cover the following Accounting QCC’s:

Accounting: Core Skills

#11 Topic: Personal Qualities
Standard: Choose ethical courses of action.

#14 Topic: Personal Qualities
Standard: Demonstrate adaptability, dependability, responsibility, and such social behaviors as tolerance, honesty, empathy, and courtesy.

#5 Topic: Basic Skills
Standard: Organize ideas and communicate orally in a clear, concise, and courteous manner.

This trackstar will lend additional practice and real world applications of what we have learned in our unit on Ethics in the business world.
