 Track Description
Students will examine, discuss and debate the issues featured in political cartoons from various periods of U.S. history. Some of the examples are relatively easy to interpret while others will take more research and background knowledge (a perfect opportunity for teachers to contribute to the discussion). Most of these cartoons were supplied by the Library of Congress American Memory archive. CNSNEWS.COM supplied the Stayskal cartoon.
