The following sites are devoted to various aspects of math problem solving.
The NCTM Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics recommends that the mathematics curriculum "include numerous and varied experiences with problem solving as a method of inquiry and application."
Primary students need a variety of experiences that will enrich their problem-solving abilities.
Today's TI session seeks to do that.
Let's offer children in grades K-3 opportunities to develop critical thinking, logic, divergent thinking, and other skills that will assist them in becoming better problem solvers.
