 Track Description
Track-A-Day
This is an extension of our study from the fiction book, _Where the Wild Things Are_ by Maurice Sendak. I plan to read the book aloud to the class, and by the end of this track they will have completed several smaller assignments dealing with travel, animals and the imagination. Students will have a spiral notebook as a journal they will have in class and during the Trackstar assignment. They may write or draw pictures to answer the questions and prompts found within the lesson, and at the end, this is where the majority of their grade will be assessed. There is a link attached for an internet screen-reader, as well as a text-translator link as part of one of the activities. This text-translator may be adapted and could be used as an addition to several parts of this lesson for English Language Learners.
