In this unit students research people who participated in the cattle drives of the late 1800s. Each student will use the internet to obtain background knowledge to write an informative esay to demonstrate the research findings. They will then be divided into groups to creat children's storybooks explaining the real life experiences of trail drivers. This task will be done in collaborative groups of 4 students.
