 Track Description
Apraxia is a communicative disorder. It is more specifically described as an oral- motor speech disorder which affects a person's ability to orally express himself intelligibly although he exhibits normal language comprehension skills. A child diagnosed by a speech - language pathologist as apraxic requires speech therapy and special attention of the teacher to allow and provide modifications in the classroom due to the child's impaired ability to express him/herself orally.
