 Track Description
Premier Track
The curriculum standard 2.2b states that "form tends to dictate function, thus an alteration of form may lead to a change in function", and the 9-12 Biological Sciences Benchmark for this standard says that "environmental, sociological, psychological, electrochemical, and biochemical alterations may induce changes in the form, and may alter the function of an organism. This track was created to provide a resource list, including unit plan, Creation, Evolution, and the Human Genome, for teachers whose students are having difficulty with the concepts of evidences of evolution. This unit will provide students with activities which will require them to research the history and processes of evolution and the human genome.
