My students are having difficulty comprehending what they read on a Fourth grade level. This unit will provide them the extra practice they need in comprehension on fourth grade level. The 4th grade Language Arts/ 3-5 cluster Reading content standard states that The student will develop the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the written text. This unit will include online Websites to increase the use of the Internet in the classroom for practice of skills and research purposes as described in the Tecaher Profile Survey.
