This track has several sites that should appeal to all students. There are tracks about the author, tracks about the book, and tracks about the movie. There is even a track where the students can read all of the Oz books online, chapter by chapter. One track also contains lesson ideas for all academic areas. Objectives that will be covered in this unit include: a) The student will locate and apply information using different sources. B) The student will answer questions about the reading selection. C) The student will be able to define unfamiliar words by using context clues. D) The student will locate the main idea. E) The student will distinguish between literal and figurative language.
