 Track Description

Now that you've met and spent some time with Sir Ulrich von Liechtenstein, met his friends and "road crew," and know a little about jousting and the kind of equipment a knight needs in order to compete at tournament and, more importantly, to fight in battle, you can now create your own knight, just like William Thatcher did.

Your task and objective is the following:

1.  Answer two brief sets of questions on the first two links.

2.  Research the links to create a knight, just like William Thatcher did.  Give your knight a name and a place where he is from.  Does he know any dances?  Who is his lady and what is she like?)

3.  Give him friends and a crew just like Sir Ulrich had.  Each person in the crew should perform a specific function for Sir Ulrich.  (e.g., remember how Kate made the armour)  Each person in your group is going to be assigned a specific role i the group.

4.  Design and draw a shield (see the links) that best reflects the personality of youur knight.  You will have art supplies and be graded based on the rubric passed out to you.
