This track "Learniing Multiplication Facts" provides good ways to learn multiplication facts for grades 3 and 4. It provides ways that the facts can be broken down into smaller chunks so that the resource student can learn the facts easier, which specifically meets my learning gap which states my students do not know the multiplication facts 0-9. The TN Curriculum Framework Standard for grade cluster 3-5 states in order to develop understanding of estimation, measurement, and computation, the mathematics curriculum should include problems which require students to apply appropriate tools and units of measurement, to develop effective estimation and computation strategies for producing reasonable results, and to calculate using appropriate tools such as mental mathematics, technology, manipulatives, and pencil and paper. I feel this track addresses the TeacherProfiler Survey questions that state my students learn something as completely as they can, my students are willing to try tasks that seen hard to do, and my students think about their best skills and use them to complete a task. The learning objectives for this track include following directions, memorize the multiplication facts, develop computational fluency by exploring patterns in multiplication for products involving one-digit factors, understand and use the zero property for multiplication and the property or one as a factor in multiplication, and to have fun learning math!
