 Track Description
The book Crossing Jordan, by Adrian Fogelin, explores race relations in the South. Although the town where Cass lives has long been legally integrated, there are still fences to cross in social relations. USA Today called Adrian Fogelin's first book, Crossing Jordan, a "sensitive portrait of black-white relations in a changing neighborhood." The American Library Association named this book to its Best Books for Young Adults list. Crossing Jordan also has been nominated for a Georgia Children's Book Award as well as other awards.
